In order to enrich students' extracurricular cultural life and further enhance the class cohesion and students' physique, in the third class on the afternoon of 28th December, Anqing Foreign Language School held the tug-of-war competition on the playground for the seventh grade to welcome the New Year.
To begin with, the competition took the class as a unit and was conducted by drawing lots first with the rankings determined by group cycle.
To be concrete, in the competition, each participating team has demonstrated the indomitable will and the fighting spirit, which has showcased the style and competence in this contest. The players tried their best to grab the rope and went all out to fight for it. On the other hand,  the cheerleaders of each class who cheered were unwilling to admit themselves outdone. Thus, the power of youth was flying everywhere on the field. The sound of cheering and laughter rose one after another, keeping cropping up. What's more, each game affected the teachers' hearts in that the school leaders, head teachers and subject teachers cheered for the players from the sidelines. In the shouts, the teacher and students integrated with each other, and the hearts of the teachers and students were getting closer.
In a word, this competition has trained students’ physique, cultivated their volitional quality, enhanced the collective cohesion, and made us understand that as long as we make concerted effort and work together, we can obtain great power. More remarkably, we will surely triump and leave a great chapter in our life if we meet every game in the future and every challenge ahead with this spirit.
